The post holder is responsible for providing quality assurance and clinical oversight of key areas within the Complex Care Directorate to ensure the successful delivery of ICB functions. The post holder will be required to drive quality, performance and system leadership around health commissioned contracts. These will include Complex Care, Section 117 (s117), Learning Disabilities and Autism, Court of Protection, Responsible Commissioner disputes and high-cost packages. The post holder will be lead on the strategic development of a system wide s117 policy as well as an underpinning financial framework. They will also bring system leadership to s117 performance and quality. The post holder will lead on the strategic performance and quality oversight of learning disability and Autism services. The post holder will ensure the ICB is fulfilling its functions within cases subject to Court of Protection and those requiring responsible commissioner disputes. The post holder will strategically lead on high-cost package reviews, ensuring that care is appropriate to the needs and is value for money. The post holder will work towards addressing health inequalities and the wider determinants of health identifying opportunities to improve better patient outcomes. The post holder will be responsible for identifying opportunities to further develop care models, processes, and relationships with system partners to support the delivery of a high-quality service for Individual Patient Services.
