Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for a Junior Finance Business Partner on behalf of a large service business based in Nottingham on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Business Partner for 3 divisions, you will be responsible for providing insightful and timely financial analysis, reporting, and support to facilitate decision-making and add value to the business. Key Responsibilities: Reviewing the monthly management accounts and periodic revenue and expenditure forecasts for designated regions covering KPI, variance analysis and commentary in accordance with the agreed timetable for senior management review. Collaborate with teams across finance, payroll and ledgers to ensure accurate transaction recording & monitoring. Present draft and final results to department heads, interpret and explain key variances. Be the finance department contact for providing financial assistance and ad hoc analysis where necessary. Interpret and discuss the forecast results with department heads and any risks or opportunities that may impact future financial performance. To build strong working relationships within finance and the business. Contribute to the wider team during month end, forecast and budgeting to provide timely and accurate reports and analysis for senior management. Providing various ad-hoc analysis as required within finance by finance business partners, Head of FP&A and CFO. The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/AAT or relevant experience) with previous management accounting experience, particularly in interpreting and presenting results to financial and non-financial individuals. You must possess strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail when analysing large data sets.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including proficiency in Vlookups, pivot tables, as well as problem solving skills with a drive for continuous improvement and efficiency in processes are essential.
