A global media publishing company is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join them for 6 months.
Your new company
You will be working for a media publishing company in the heart of London, sitting within a dynamic finance team. It is a 6-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave.
Your new role
You will be working as an Accounts Payable Assistant dealing with complex invoices and large volumes of data.
Duties:
1. Process high volumes of purchase invoices.
2. Ensure all invoices are processed accurately and authorised in accordance with agreed limits in a timely manner.
3. Adhere to our weekly objectives.
4. Resolve internal and external purchase ledger queries.
5. Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details.
6. Reconcile supplier statements.
7. Process staff company credit cards and expenses monthly and promptly.
What you'll need to succeed:
1. Experience working in the AP function.
2. Intermediate Excel skills.
3. Experience in a retail background or similar.
4. Experience working with large volumes/stock.
5. Collaborative and can-do attitude.
