The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor at White & Lloyd, you will report directly to the directors and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing budget estimates and detailed elemental cost plans.
* Producing Schedules of Works and Bills of Quantities.
* Reviewing contractors’ tender submissions and preparing detailed cost comparisons.
* Managing contract administration, valuations, and the final account process.
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members, contributing to team leadership.
* Collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
About You
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Quantity Surveyor who shares our passion for excellence and innovation. The ideal candidate will have:
* 5+ years’ experience (or equivalent) in quantity surveying, with significant expertise in the residential sector.
* A track record of successfully delivering projects, preferably in the super prime or prime residential sectors.
* MRICS or MCIOB chartered status (or actively working towards this qualification).
* Strong problem-solving, project management, and client relationship skills.
* The ability to work collaboratively within a team and mentor junior colleagues.
* Ambition and the drive to take on leadership responsibilities in the future.
