A stunning national trust property based in Waddesdon is looking for an experienced Visitor Experience Manager, passionate about heritage.
This role focuses on leading the visitor experience operation, managing the team, and working with marketing, events, and collections to create exceptional visitor experiences. Key areas include tours, exhibitions, and events, as well as ensuring accessibility and safety.
You will be working a minimum of 37.5 hours per week (exclusive of breaks) Wednesday to Sunday. Occasional Monday, Tuesday and evening work will be required, for which time will be taken in lieu.

Key Responsibilities As Visitor Experience Manager
1. Oversee daily visitor operations, ensuring high standards and compliance
2. Lead, develop and support the Assistant Visitor Experience Manager (AVEM) and team
3. Drive visitor engagement through tours, exhibitions, and events
4. Collaborate with marketing, events, collections, and volunteering teams
5. Ensure health, safety, and accessibility across the site
What We're Looking For In a Visitor Experience Manager
1. Extensive experience in visitor-facing roles, preferably in heritage/museums
2. An inspiring leader with strong operational and team development skills
3. A genuine passion for delivering exceptional visitor experiences in a heritage setting
