Transport Coordinator
WB Power Services are currently recruiting for a Transport Coordinator to work in our head office, in Heanor, Derbyshire. This is a superb opportunity for a Transport Coordinator to join the business through this rapid period of growth. The business is looking for a driven and motivated Transport Coordinator to support the business through these exciting times.

The Role
1. Ensuring company drivers are adhering to tachograph rules and vehicle checks.
2. Understanding the rules and requirements for driver hours and abiding by those.
3. Knowledge of weights and ensuring we are compliant when planning routes.
4. Working within all Company Health & Safety and quality guidelines.
5. Allocation of jobs to drivers using our own planning system.
6. Answering phone and query resolution.
7. Providing information to Supervisors & co-workers by telephone, email, or in-person.
8. Administration for the drivers such as delivery notes and goods received.
9. Assist Transport Manager in Infringement meetings, taking notes.
10. Administration of all traffic offense including getting drivers to sign salary deduction forms.
11. Identifying and allocation of vehicles to new drivers ensuring they are prepared.
12. Creating relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
The Person
1. Meticulous attention to details.
2. Experience in transport planning.
3. Health and safety aware.
4. Knowledge of UK traffic laws.
5. Confident with communicating via telephone, face-to-face and email.
6. Excellent computer literacy skills.
7. Self-motivating and enthusiastic team player.
8. Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
9. Flexible and hard working.
