TEACHER OF ENGLISH - PERMANENT / FULL TIME
Starting in September 2025.
We are looking to appoint a Teacher of English with a passion and vision for learning and teaching in English across all key stages. You will be a highly effective practitioner who will inspire a love of learning in your students.
The successful candidate will join a vibrant, forward-thinking, and progressive department, keen to build upon the many successes within the school’s impressive inspection reports from both the Diocese and Ofsted. This post would suit either an ECT or an experienced colleague wanting to further develop their career in a truly exceptional school.
The successful candidate will benefit from teaching in a department that offers comprehensive and robust schemes of learning, incisive planned assessments, and is fully resourced.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality English lessons across all key stages.
2. Inspire students and foster a love of learning.
3. Engage in curriculum development and continuous improvement.
4. Participate in professional development and training.
5. Contribute to a positive school environment focused on student wellbeing.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. Passion for teaching English.
3. Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
4. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
