Learning & Development Assessor
Hoop PS&HR are proud to be working closely with a forward-thinking and employee-focused organisation who are looking for a Learning and Development Assessor to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis. This position is based in Cardiff and comes with a salary of up to £28,000 and offers hybrid working.
This position will allow you to play a key role in delivering high-quality training and assessments to learners, ensuring positive outcomes and continuous improvement in the company’s performance. The role involves supporting learners through training programs and assessing their progress.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Upload relevant and vital documentation for the learner’s progression.
2. Monitor learner performance, ensuring successful completion.
3. Design and deliver training sessions, alongside developing individual learning plans, and tailored learning routes based on their skillset and needs.
4. Conduct assessments across a regional area, supporting learners in achieving qualifications.
5. Reference and assess workplace evidence for Key Skills requirements.
6. Manage learner attendance and absence.
7. Support learners with additional training needs and facilitate further training where necessary.
8. Facilitate tests and assessments in line with awarding body requirements.
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with learners, team members, and employers.
10. Attend relevant training and personal development programmes.
11. Liaise with other team members in the development and delivery of training sessions.
12. Support and contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of targets.
Experience & Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in delivering training
2. CAVA Qualification (Desirable)
3. TAQA Qualification (Desirable)
4. ESW Level 2 Qualification (Desirable)
5. Strong communication and IT skills.
6. Understanding of safeguarding
