Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Cloud Engineer to join their infrastructure team. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in expanding their cloud environment, supporting quantitative research, data pipelines, and post-trade systems. The position involves working with the latest cloud technologies and provides significant ownership in delivering impactful solutions.
Technology Stack
Our client client uses AWS with managed Kubernetes, EMR, RDS, OpenSearch, MSK, and EC2.
Infrastructure is managed through Terraform, with automation handled via GitHub Actions.
Responsibilities
* Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure to support various business needs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cost-efficient, tailored solutions.
* Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of cloud-based systems.
* Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance to improve operational efficiency.
* Stay current with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in AWS and Kubernetes.
* Strong experience with Terraform and a solid understanding of "Infrastructure as Code" principles.
* Familiarity with CNCF technologies (e.g., Argo CD, Kyverno, Backstage).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Desirable
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certifications.
* Knowledge of Go programming and Kubernetes operators.
* Experience with GitHub Actions or similar automation tools.
