You will need to be an efficient and flexible individual who prides yourself on providing outstanding customer service. As Senior Chef you can expect to be involved in: You will focus on the daily preparation of the standard menus, daily specials, and recipes, maintaining the required high standard of food production and delivering a first-class catering service. As the Sous/Senior Chef you will use your natural people skills to supervise and motivate kitchen staff and oversee stock control and ordering. You will ensure full compliance with all aspects of health, safety and hygiene standards and the adherence to relevant legislation. What will you bring to the role? Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate Sound experience of managing kitchen staff A proven track record of preparing standard menus and recipes Experience of ordering stock, managing stores and stock control, plus calculating food percentages and gross profit margins Solid IT skills and a flexible, committed, and professional approach to work.
