Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Cycle Counter to join our Imports team in Minworth/Birmingham. The successful candidate will play a key role in confirming the accuracy of the inventory levels reflected in their inventory management system, by counting select products on a regular basis. How you will contribute Answers routine and non-routine enquiries and performs duties involving the collection, verification, and/or dissemination of material levels and customer needs and demands. Operate strictly to Standard Work and Quality processes to ensure a “Right First Time” product to the customer. Complete cycle counts in line with JLR parts schedule Control all paperwork pertaining to cycles counts and corresponding adjustments Reconcile cycle count results to AOS and SAP stock figures and escalate discrepancies Respond to customer inquiries and anticipates upcoming customer needs. Coordinate all pack line discrepancies and reconcile to inbound supplier paperwork to identify route cause Conduct “random” cycle counts of completed packages in the ship lanes to ensure system alignment prior to shipping Performs other related duties as assigned. Produce internal KPI results for cycle counts including pareto analysis of route causes to aid continuous improvement What you will bring Experience of working in an automotive or logistics environment in advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to communicate and deal with a variety of people. Ability to perform repetitive duties and detail work accurately. Ability to work with frequent distractions. Good oral and written communication skills. Administrative ability. Good customer service and/or interpersonal skills. Experience of order process control is essential Proficiency on computers and Microsoft Office products, namely Excel Good understanding of AOS and SAP is required Proficiency in working with operations managers, staff, and hourly employees.
