Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 staff nurse to join our growing and specialist Gynaecology nursing team.
The post holder has responsibility for the provision of competent professional nursing care, to meet with individual needs of the designated patient population with the service. The post holder will be accountable for the delivery of care within Women's services, specifically related to Gynaecology, hysteroscopy, colposcopy and early pregnancy associated outpatient activity, to a specific group of patients.
The post holder will need to take charge of the service area needs, on a regular basis and provide leadership to the junior staff and support to the senior nursing teams. The post holderwill organise own time and that of junior staff, delegating to junior staff and learners, and participating in teaching and education programmes for staff and patients.
Main duties of the job
