Our client are a well establish law firm based in East London and they are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor. If you are 1 - 2 years PQE and have experience of working with landlords with large portfolios and SME Tenants and want to be part of a lively, forward thinking team then this could be the role for you. Experience: Landlord and Tenant Representation: Acting for landlords (typically with large portfolios) and tenants (usually small to medium-sized local businesses) in relation to: Grant of leases, including drafting leases, rent deposit deeds, licenses to alter, and agreements for lease. Variations to existing leases. Licenses to alter. Developer Representation: Preparation of reports on title. Site acquisitions for development. Site disposals. Conditional purchase agreements. Options. Land promotion agreements. Overage agreements. Joint venture agreements. Grant of easements. Approval of reliance letters and collateral warranties on construction. Preparation for sale of flats at completed developments and subsequent individual flat/home disposals. Developer and Lender Representation: Refinancing and financing arrangements, including: Review of facility agreements and finance documents (e.g., legal charge, debenture, duty of care deeds, subordination and priority deeds). Preparing certificates of title in City of London form. Arranging for broker reliance letters. Drafting corporate minutes, resolutions, and certificates. Requirements: Logical thinking. Excellent attention to detail (a must, as the business relies on the quality of its deliverables). Personality fit is key; you should be fun and have a good sense of humor.
