About the Role:
We are actively recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to work in Norwich three days a week – Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Starting in January 2025, this long-term position offers the opportunity to shape young minds in a supportive and vibrant environment. You will be teaching secondary-level English, helping students develop a love for literature, improve their writing skills, and gain confidence in language mastery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with curriculum standards, this may include A Levels.
2. Inspire and motivate students, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
4. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to department initiatives.
5. Maintain classroom discipline and uphold school policies.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Qualified English Teacher (QTS required) – Recognized teaching qualifications.
2. Proven Classroom Experience – With secondary-level students in a UK setting.
3. Passionate and Engaging – Ability to inspire a diverse range of learners.
4. Strong Communication Skills – Both written and verbal, for effective classroom management and collaboration.
