A UK-based manufacturing SME is looking for a Quality Control Specialist with experience in a manufacturing environment (mechanical and electrical devices). The position is based on site at the UK head office in Amesbury every day with occasional travel to other UK sites.

The purpose of your role as Quality Control Specialist:
Quality Control: Ensuring that products and processes comply with established standards and specifications.
Inspection and Testing: Conducting inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and products to identify any deviations from the specifications.
Process Improvement: Recommending and implementing improvements to the production process to enhance quality and efficiency
Product Improvement: Working with team members and R&D Department to improve product quality
Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining detailed records and reports on issues, test results, and corrective actions
Compliance: Ensuring adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Training and collaboration: Educating and training staff on procedures and standards
Problem-Solving: Identifying and addressing quality-related issues and working with other departments to resolve them
We’re looking for a Quality Control Specialist with:
Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
A high grade in Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
A valid UK driving license
Knowledge of Office 365
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
