Your New Position
As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. You will manage people, processes, and systems to ensure productivity targets are met and that workplace health and safety requirements are adhered to. You will also be responsible for the strategic development of the warehouse, ensuring continuous improvement in operations.
Key Responsibilities: (Not limited to)
· Manage and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse.
· Ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
· Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
· Implement and maintain warehouse policies and procedures.
· Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
· Develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency.
· Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
· Manage budgets and forecasts for warehouse operations.
· Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements for Success
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
· Proficiency in warehouse management software and databases.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
