The post holder will provide efficient and effective clerical and reception service for the Sexual Health & HIV Service under the guidance/supervision of the administrator and the Clerical team.
Responsibilities:
1. Reception duties of meet and greet patients and register patients electronically, answering telephone queries and booking appointments.
2. Coding Negative results and inputting onto electronic system.
3. Ensure all results including pathology/ ultrasound are inputted and filed.
4. Managing referrals into the system.
5. Preparing and retrieving case notes.
6. Booking interpreters if needed Face to face.
7. Post distribution.
8. Ordering stationary and Non-Catalogue orders via IPROC.
9. Handle Confidential material maintaining confidentiality in conjunction with Data protection.
10. Other duties appropriate to grade delegated by senior staff.
All staff new to the Trust are required to undergo a 6-month probationary period (except medical staff and staff on temporary or fixed term contracts for 6 months or less who are subject to separate arrangements).
All existing Trust staff transferring internally to a new post within the Trust are required to undergo a modified probationary period of 3 months.
