We are looking for a talented and motivated qualified accountant to join our business as Group Finance Operations Controller.
Leading an international team (16 FTE) across multiple locations (UK, Singapore and India) this replacement role will assume full responsibility for the management of the back-office finance operations of the Group to include the following areas: accounts payable; accounts receivable; payroll; banking; general ledger accounting; balance sheet; and inter-company.Job ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
•Accounts Payable – assume overall responsibility for the end-to-end PTP process to include: maintenance of AP policy and authorisation matrices; AP payments approvals; monitoring P2P performance and payment controls; and SAP Concur system maintenance.
•Banking & Treasury – manage cash flow across the Group to ensure that all obligations are met in full and on time.
•Accounts Receivable – lead the Credit Team and support Sales to maximise cash collection across all entities in the Group.
•General Ledger Accounting – lead the month-end process for all OPEX account categories for all entities across the Group.
•Payroll Accounting – support the Finance Operations Manager to ensure that payroll is reported accurately and in accordance with the monthly reporting timetable.
•Payroll Processing – lead and support the Global Payroll team to ensure that all country payrolls are delivered in full, accurately and on time; manage the relationship with the outsourced payroll provider (ADP).
•Balance Sheet – lead the quarterly Balance Sheet Review process for all Group entities; review all entity Balance Sheet reconciliations and drive process improvements.
•Intercompany – lead the process for the review and settlement of Group inter-company balances.
•Projects – lead and deliver the key Finance Operations priority projects to include: migration of all bank accounts to one provider; benchmarking the performance of the current global payroll provider; and implementation of SAP Concur Invoice throughout the Group.Key Skills•Highly developed Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

•Recognised accountancy qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, ICAS)Experience•Leading and managing an international back-office Finance operations team
•Leading and managing the month-end general ledger accounting process (OPEX)
•Working knowledge of Group accounting packages (Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and Anaplan)
•Working knowledge of SAP Concur Expense and Invoice (PTP system) or equivalent
•Subject matter expertise in the end-to-end P2P process
•Leading the delivery of complex, multiple, cross-functional projects in full and on time
•Comprehensive understanding of financial controls and associated authorisation matrices
