As a Tax Trainee, you will assist work small teams to really understand our clients and what they want to achieve and advise them on how to get there. So, we look for people who Have great attention to detail, with a passion for numbers and a knack for following processes Possess great communication skills, can build rapport and are comfortable approaching clients Ask questions and deliver a brilliant client experience Can adapt to changing priorities and work in different teams Able to multitask - processing data, chasing information and prioritising your own workload Play all in to support the wider team Are excited about Tax and driven to succeed in the role and qualification About the day to day… Turning complex jargon into simple terms and actions for our brilliant clients Making sure our clients are compliant by preparing and submitting their tax returns Liaising with HMRC around tax returns and gaining tax reliefs Generating new ideas, solutions and spotting opportunities to enhance our client offering Keeping up to date with changes to legislation and the impact they may have on our clients Alongside the day-to-day, you will also study for your ACA/CTA or ATT/CTA Qualification through attending college courses and on the job training. The pathway to qualification takes around 3 years if you’re a Graduate - or 4 years as a School Leaver – and you’ll be supported along the way by your colleagues, Managers and our dedicated Student Support Manager.
