With consistent growth and a strong M&A pipeline, this is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified accountant ready to make an impact in a commercially-focused role. You’ll work across group consolidation, budgeting, systems development, and analysis, and will have a direct hand in shaping performance insights at group level.
What you’ll be doing:
* Support system improvement initiatives to develop IBM Consolidation and Financial Reporting tools
* Assist in the month-end consolidation of group management accounts
* Help drive forecasting and budgeting improvements across the group
* Deliver commercial insight through deep-dive and ad hoc analysis
* Provide internal management reporting support and help shape new reports
* Prepare VAT returns for central companies
* Administer the group-wide capex approval system
* Support half-year and year-end analysis (e.g. data books)
* Line manage and mentor one Assistant Accountant
