We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Fire & Security installation engineer to join our growing security division. You should have at least 3 years of previous experience in this role and be technically competent and familiar with all types of intruder, Fire, and CCTV systems.

The role
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring effective servicing, fault diagnosis, and repair of customer systems to cover breakdowns, undertake planned and responsive maintenance, repairs and installation works when required. There will be a requirement to be part of a rota system for on-call out-of-hours services.
Job Location – Based in Burton on Trent and working from here on a daily basis.
On-call Rota, one week at a time (paid retainer, currently 1/7 weeks)
Knowledge, skills & experience
* Complete pre-planned maintenance and reactive Fire & Security work.
* Complete all paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
* Gather information and diagnose issues, report detailed findings and rectify issues.
* Experienced in all aspects of fire, security and CCTV systems. Be capable of both installation and maintenance.
* Capable of working to and understanding drawings.
* Excellent level of computer literacy.
* Experience in delivering Customer Care and being focused on the support and needs of the client.
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
* Performance and quality-focused.
Person
Enthusiastic, 'hands-on, can do' approach, willing to pitch in and help out irrespective of the works.
Self-motivated team member with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
The candidate is also required to have the following:
* Proven track record
* Good knowledge of a variety of fire, intruder and CCTV security systems
* Must hold a valid UK driving licence
* Own hand tools
