You will be working on a new niche area for the company and will be selling high-quality B2B media events. In this dynamic atmosphere, you would be expected to sell to a variety of professional events such as small-scale networking dinners, conferences, exhibitions, and awards.

The Role
The key tasks of the Head of Events include:
1. Selling on the existing events portfolio and developing awards, conferences, bespoke events, and exhibitions.
2. Develop new revenue streams with regards to the events portfolio.
3. Develop existing accounts and enhance revenue streams.
4. Build upon and maintain excellent client relationships ensuring that packages are tailor-made to client objectives.
The Candidate
The key attributes of the Head of Events include:
1. Proven experience of working in a sponsorship sales environment would be an advantage; however, the key to this role is being able to spot opportunities and have excellent sales ability.
2. Passionate and knowledgeable regarding selling creative sponsorship solutions.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and sell at all levels.
4. Consultative with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
This role is based in London and is paying up to £65,000 + uncapped commission + benefits.
