SHARES Recruitment have been exclusively appointed to recruit for one of our wonderful primary schools in Skelmersdale. We are seeking an experienced teacher with KS1 experience for a year 2 class. The candidate must be passionate about education, up to date with relevant CPD knowledge, have experience of teaching children from a range of backgrounds and have a child centred approach. They must also be enthusiastic, positive and dedicated. Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
2. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
3. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
4. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school community to support student learning.
5. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
6. Ensure children individual needs are being met to the best of the school's ability.
Classroom Management:
- Maintain an orderly and productive classroom environment.
- Implement and consistently deliver classroom rules and procedures.
Student Engagement:
- Encourage active participation and create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Inspire students to be enthusiastic about learning.
- Address student questions and concerns with empathy.
Communication:
- Effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Provide feedback on student progress to enhance classroom dynamics.
Adaptability:
- Be flexible in undertaking various tasks as needed.
- Adjust to changes in the curriculum or schedule promptly.
- Assist with different grade levels or subjects when required.
- Address behavioural issues constructively and promptly.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Education or relevant field.
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a teacher in a primary school and completed their ECT or NQT period.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development training.
