As an Image Editor, you will be:
1. Reporting into the Post Production Manager.
2. Responsible for the account management of our E-commerce post-production provider.
3. Ensuring quality control across the transfer, delivery, and receipt of all e-commerce assets in and out of the studio operation.
4. Partnering with the post-production manager on priority products through the workflow and delegating accordingly across the Image team.
5. Govern and develop the Retouch master guide.
6. Foster a collaborative relationship with the Selfridges Digital operations team.
7. Lead daily communication with the Customer Success Manager of the post-production provider and escalate any necessary amends.
8. Collaborate and communicate solidly with the Studio Photography Editor from internal capture through to post-production.
9. Occasionally required to work out of normal office hours.
10. Lead necessary specification changes, briefing audits, and potential troubleshooting with the post-production provider.
11. Delegate priority amends to Image specialists where appropriate.
12. Identify necessary improvements and opportunities with advancements in technology alongside our account provider.
13. Optimise supplier and in-house workflow through the studio operation and identify areas of improvement.
14. Responsible for weekly reports of asset workflow.
15. Conduct regular presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
How you’ll do it…you will have:
1. Solid third-party account management experience and responsibility for this relationship.
2. Extensive retouch experience including high-end fashion.
3. Highly competent in using Adobe Photoshop and Bridge, with knowledge of digital file handling, organizing and editing imagery, plus colour profiles.
4. Solid knowledge of studio production with expertise in systems and processes.
5. Experience with Creative Force workflow tool is a benefit.
6. Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with our account provider.
7. Ability to work in isolation and collaborate within a team equally.
8. Solid understanding of photography, lighting, and composition.
9. Exceptional attention to detail.
10. Exceptional communication skills with Art direction and Photographers.
11. Confident in identifying challenges and leading potentially difficult conversations.
12. Confidence and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
13. Flexibility in work approach and a positive attitude are a must.
14. Full-time, 5 days a week with one day WFH.
