We are looking for two Prep for Life Lecturers who can deliver preparation for adulthood curriculum including GCSE maths, to join our Prep for Life Team. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of GBP30,202 to GBP41,769, plus many added incentives including:

Job Purpose:
To assist in the development, organisation, delivery and course management of high-quality teaching and learning in the area of Prep for Life.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Full Teaching qualification (Certificate of Education, PGCE or equivalent) or currently studying towards.
* Hold a specialist Level 4/5 Maths qualification (or from a related discipline e.g. Engineering).
* Minimum Level 2 English/Literacy qualification.
* Be able to evidence successful experience of teaching groups of learners with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities (LDD) (which demonstrates knowledge and practice of effective and inclusive group teaching and learning strategies).
* Be able to evidence successful experience of teaching Functional Skills maths and GCSE Maths.
* Have a thorough knowledge of GCSE Maths specifications and/or Functional Skills standards.
* Have knowledge of Entry Level curricula / qualifications.
* Experience of innovative curriculum development, including use of ILT.
* Be able to demonstrate the ability to plan, deliver and evaluate high quality, motivational and inclusive learning experiences for learners with LDD.
