Participating in nursing procedures to assist our nursing staff Maintaining the dignity and privacy of residents and respecting their individual needs Assisting with serving meals and drinks Assisting with other tasks as requested to ensure the smooth running of the home Attending and participation in orientation, mandatory and other training as require Requirements for the Carer role: We are looking for experienced Care Assistants as well as motivated and enthusiastic individuals looking to start a career in care We offer NVQ Health and Social Care level 2 training for other care staff. Although we will consider applicants without qualifications or experience, the following would be an advantage: Experience of working with the elderly, preferably in a care home environment Level 2 qualification in health and social care or equivalent. PAY As an employee (21 years ) new to care, working alternate weekends, you can expect a starting rate of 12.10 per hour 10% additional pay at weekends 50% extra pay on Bank holidays.
