We are currently recruiting for an experienced cleaner to work for our client based in Barnet and surrounding areas.
The successful post holder will provide a customer focussed service, undertaking a full range of cleaning routines/duties within the business unit's buildings.
Duties and Responsibilities as a Cleaner:

Sweep and mop all floors, including courtrooms, corridors, waiting areas, and restrooms. Pay special attention to any high-traffic areas.

Vacuum carpets and any upholstery, especially in courtrooms, witness stands, and waiting areas.
*
Dust all surfaces, including desks, counters, window sills, shelving, and other furniture. Clean behind and underneath furniture.
*
Empty all trash bins throughout the building, including offices, courtrooms, restrooms, and hallways.
*
Clean all glass surfaces (windows, partitions, and glass doors) using glass cleaner to remove fingerprints, dust, and smudges.
*
Clean the judge’s bench, clerk’s desk, and any other special furniture (such as witness stands or jury boxes) with care. Ensure that surfaces are free of dust, marks, and smudges.

Wipe down microphones, headsets, and any audio or visual equipment, ensuring they are clean and functional.
*
Clean all seating areas, including chairs, benches, and podiums. Ensure that any stains are dealt with appropriately, especially on upholstery.

Wipe down the tables where lawyers and defense counsels sit.
*
Scrub toilets and sinks with disinfectants to ensure proper hygiene. Clean and sanitize taps, handles, and mirrors.

Ensure that toilet paper, soap, and hand sanitizers are always replenished.
*
Sweep and mop the floors, and clean any walls or partitions that may need attention.
*
Wipe down office desks, chairs, and computer equipment, making sure to use suitable cleaning products for electronics. Pay attention to keyboards, screens, and telephones.

Dust filing cabinets, shelves, and storage areas. Ensure these areas are free of debris or old papers.
*
Clean the entryway, including any doors or glass surfaces. Ensure that reception areas are neat and professional.
*
Clean chairs and tables in any waiting areas. Ensure any magazines or reading materials are tidy.
*
Follow strict protocols to disinfect and clean all surfaces, including counters, medical tools, and floors. This may require more advanced cleaning agents, such as hospital-grade disinfectants.
*
Clean any security areas or checkpoints, ensuring they are sanitized and organized.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 7am - 9am
Requirements for a cleaner:
* Must have Enhanced DBS check.
* Experience of working as a Cleaner or in a similar role
* Knowledge of Health & Safety in this area of work.
* Excellent Communication skills
* A certificate in Infection Control or COSHH
