We are currently seeking an Engine Management system, Calibration Engineer, to support the on-going development of new model ranges and expansion into more emerging markets.
The role offers a broad range of challenges including the further development of Drive-by-Wire systems and traction control to the creation and application of new ideas and strategies to achieve the next and future rounds of emissions legislation.
The Calibration Engineer will have responsibility for; producing ECU Calibrations. Emissions test motorcycles, testing vehicle evaporative emissions, collecting logged data of system operation and the evaluation of drivability and system functions
The ideal candidate will have a good overview of how engines work, with a good mix of both academic and practical skills. They will also have some basic electrical knowledge, a good ability to analyse data and the ability to apply a logical approach to calibration changes.

3. Excellent communication skills, clear and concise written and verbal skills
Candidates will need to have a flexible approach to working hours as some overseas travel may be required for testing or supplier visits.
It would be highly desirable if candidates have any previous experience of working with engine management systems and if they hold a car license and/or bike license.
