We are looking to appoint a Student Recruitment Officer to work within our Marketing Team. The role will include liaising with high schools to establish, maintain and develop links between Bury College and target schools.
You will be responsible for the development and delivery of high school events. This will include delivering effective and inspiring presentations to school pupils, parents, and other influencers as required, as well as to Bury College students to support progression onto Bury College University Centre. You will be responsible for the accuracy, appropriateness, and language used in high school presentations and promotions, liaising with other areas of the college as necessary.
You will represent the college at events and activities, e.g., at high schools, Open Evenings, Results Days, and external activities, managing the positive reputation of the college through the production and publication of engaging, targeted, and well-written copy for use across all communication channels.
You will have a Higher-Level qualification (e.g., Level 4, Degree, HND, HNC, etc.) in a related subject (or willingness to work towards), experience of working with staff within schools and colleges, and representing organisations in a wide range of situations. You will have the ability to produce accurate and well-written work for various communication purposes and to set, monitor, and achieve challenging targets under pressure and to deadlines. You should have a good standard of education including Maths and English Grade A* - C (or equivalent) or Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.
