Council Pension Fund Officers are looking to recruit a suitably experienced person to act as an Independent Professional Observer.
The role will have an initial tenure of 3 years and aims to enhance the governance and decision-making of the Scottish Borders Pension Fund by providing independent observations and additional expertise to the Pension Fund Committee and Pension Board.
Essential Requirements:
1. Experience in the pension fund industry
2. Understanding of legal and investment aspects
3. Ability to provide independent scrutiny
Desirable Attributes:
1. Familiarity with best practices
2. Experience with Local Government Pension Schemes
3. Working with multi-employer funds
