Wework with a growing number of PCN’s across Slough,locatedwithin the GP practices providing a first contact MSK service integrated into the multidisciplinary team. The successful applicantwillbe responsible forundertakinghighlyspecialisedand comprehensivetriage and management of common and complex MSK conditions at first presentation in primary care.Applicants willbe requiredto use advanced clinical reasoning skills to formaccuratediagnosis and provide management plans to include further investigations, lifestyle and rehabilitation advice, onward referrals to secondary care,physiotherapy,and other members of the MDT.
We are committed to advancing you clinically andthe role will include management supervision, clinicalsupervisionand team training.Funding for external courses may also be available, as well as the opportunity to attend in-house courses.
• Undertakefirst contact clinicsworking as an independent and autonomous practitioner -based in the GP surgeryin Slough– working alongside the primary care MDT
• ToassistGP’s/referrers inappropriate referraldecisions.
• Use advanced clinical reasoning skills to formaccuratediagnosis and provide management plans to include further investigations, lifestyle and rehabilitation advice, onward referrals to secondary care,physiotherapyand other members of the MDT
• Be an active part of our FCP supportnetwork;participatingin training programmeboth within FCP team and to our MDT colleagues
• Contribute to the development of theFCP and MSK Physiotherapyservice.

The 3/4 “must haves” for you to be considered for this role:
• Qualified Physiotherapist with HCPC registration
• At least 3 years MSK experience at a senior level and a passion for primary care
• Fantastic interpersonal skills
• Car driver
