Due to growth and workload, Clemence Rogers are currently working in partnership with our client in the recruitment of an experienced HGV Technician to join an established multi-site commercial vehicle maintenance and fleet management company based in Hatfield.
Shift Patterns:
1. Day Shift: 06:00 - 18:00, 4 on 4 off
2. Night Shift: 18:00 – 06:00, 4 on 4 off
Reporting to the VMU Manager, your key responsibilities would be:
1. Ensure quality diagnostics and repairs according to repair order.
2. Attend needed training and obtain certifications to maintain and develop skills according to the product portfolio.
3. Provide high-quality service and repair.
4. Work closely with the VMU manager to optimise the planning for technicians in the workshop.
5. Communicate to the VMU manager the amount of parts and labour needed for additional repairs.
6. Ensure all work is quality assured and in accordance with standards and literature.
7. Record and report time spent on repair and maintenance.
8. Maintain working capacity of machines and tools.
9. Assure a clean and safe workshop at all times (Health & Safety).
10. Carry out other responsibilities given by the Line Manager.

13. Understanding of quality control.
Qualifications and technical skills:
1. City & Guilds qualified/certified or equivalent.
2. Punctuality in respecting all operational hours and duties.
3. Capability in managing the full range of responsibilities with high quality.
4. LGV Licence, preferably CE Category.
