Client:
Our client is a well-respected Property Services Contractor that have been operating for approximately 50 years. They specialise in property alterations and modifications, damage restoration and maintenance projects. They work with Social and Private Housing clients, Property Management Companies, Care Homes, Schools, Councils and Commercial Buildings.
Overview of Role:
The Supply Chain & Planning Manager will support the Head of Operations in the service and delivery of maintenance and improvement contracts for the relevant area. Oversight of the planning function and the management of Sub-Contractors and Supply Chain Partners in the area.
Responsible for the delivery of all contract works in line with client KPI requirements and internal targets while ensuring sub-contractors understand their roles. Also ensuring adequate resources, organising the work and closely monitoring to ensure works are being completed safely, on time, to specification, and within cost.
Supporting the Head of Operations in the management of all external resources relating to the Depot is also integral to the role, along with managing the Business and client relationship, ensuring transparency and good channels of communication exist and are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
11. Manage the KPIs in place with clients daily using Daily Huddles / dashboards with the depot's Supervisors, Planners, and administration team monitoring and communication driver for achieving success and ultimately achieving month end targets. They will be required to chair these meetings as and when required
12. Driving H&S Compliance in all work practices and monitoring through H&S Inspections carried out by sub-contractors
13. To set up, update and manage a sub-contractor KPI system which follows the same key deliverables in place with our clients. Reporting on these KPI's at internal meetings and then chairing meetings to assist in arresting any poor performances/slippages in performance as and when required
14. Ensure sub-contractors fully comply with all work processes using the IT systems and PDAs in place to manage the high volumes of work and ensure strong compliance across all workstreams
15. Applications management including Accuserv, C-View for contract and sub-contractor management, Accumobile for managing jobs, SharePoint, IMS and any other software or system
16. Ownership of Planning the work with the Depot Planning Team, advising and coaching staff to ensure CFM operate as efficiently as possible with each Trade maximising productivity
17. Set and drive the Planning standards across the area, working closely with the Lead Planner, ensuring all Planners are working to the desired requirements
18. Monitoring Job Numbers & Workflows ensuring adequate resource is in place to meet the Key Performance Indicators set by clients - again this is reviewed daily with the team at the Daily Huddle and actions are fast paced
19. Support Head of Operations on contract matters, responding to queries, complaints and preparation of KPI challenges, contractor reports, improvement plans and PLIC claims
20. Liaise with QS department on QS matters relevant to sub-contractors, support resolving queries and challenges
21. Management of all relevant KPI's with prompt daily Corrective Actions in place where necessary, using a flexible approach to problem solving to meet targets
22. Support the management of the Team and any People Management activities such as annual leave, recruitment, disciplinaries, time attendance queries, and overall Performance Management
23. Responsible for recruitment requirements, including successful and professional onboarding, delivery of training plans, compliance to probation period and ongoing training & development requirements
24. Assist with and champion Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives within the business
25. Perform the job in accordance with the company's policies and procedures,
26. Perform any other duties as may be reasonably required
27. Successful implementation and delivery of contracts by sub-contractors that achieve client KPI's & contractual obligations

29. Efficient & effective client and internal KPI targets are met and maintained via the utilisation of IT reports and systems
30. Retaining, managing and developing solid relationships with CFM's subcontractor network
The Ideal Person:
31. Some prior knowledge of basic property maintenance
32. IT Skills & knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
33. Good written & verbal communication skills
34. A valid UK Driver's Licence
35. IT Skills & knowledge of Microsoft and other SW applications
36. Be personally organised at all times
37. Good communication & interpersonal skills

Desirable Criteria
43. CSR Supervisor Card or NVQ equivalent
44. Previous experience in a Leadership Role
45. Experienced in Construction Industry
46. Previous experience in working on NIHE contracts
