Supported Living Manager - Workington

Their organisation is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment, ensuring that every team member feels valued and supported in their role. The position of Supported Living Manager is a key role to help drive the services forward supporting adults with learning disabilities.
The role:
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the supported living service for around 9 people being supported.
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and maintain high standards of care.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of support staff to deliver exceptional care.
Conduct regular assessments and reviews of service users' needs and progress.
Develop and implement personalised support plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure financial sustainability.
Foster positive relationships with external stakeholders, including families, local authorities, and healthcare professionals.
Promote a culture of safeguarding and ensure the safety and well-being of all service users.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in a managerial role within adult services, preferably within a leadership role.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
Experience in developing and implementing care and support plans.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care, preferably minimum of Level 3 in Health & Social Care
Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
The role is permanent over 37.5 hours per week with the need to be flexible to work at the services, and some office based work. Predominantly Mon- Fri 9am-5pm but with flexibility to be able to work shifts and over the weekend where required. The good bits:
