Tyne Tees Primary are currently recruiting for several Teaching Assistants to join our team, primarily those with an understanding of EYFS. However, roles across KS1 and KS2 are also available. The role will involve supporting children from ages 3-5, with attention paid to supporting 1:1 and in a small group capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting Children's Learning: Assist the teacher in delivering educational activities that support the EYFS curriculum, helping children develop basic skills in areas like literacy, numeracy, communication, and personal development.
Providing Individual Support: Work with children on a one-to-one or small group basis to offer additional help, particularly for those with additional needs or who may need extra support.
Promoting Positive Behaviour: Help manage classroom behavior by encouraging positive actions, reinforcing good behavior, and ensuring children feel safe and supported.
Preparing Learning Materials: Assist in setting up and preparing resources and learning materials before and after lessons to ensure a smooth and efficient learning environment.
Observing and Assessing: Observe children’s development, track progress, and provide feedback to the teacher. This may include informal assessments of children’s skills, behaviours, and needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
