We are excited to support a growing construction consultancy based in the heart of Birmingham as they recruit for a Project Coordinator on a full-time, permanent basis.
Our client partners with a diverse range of businesses across multiple sectors, including Public Sector, Retail, Hospitality, Leisure, Commercial, Residential, and Healthcare. They also have a significant presence in consulting for the Government pension fund. With a team of 40 and growing, they have recently moved into new office premises in central Birmingham.
Role Overview
The appointed Project Coordinator will provide essential support to the Project Management Office (PMO) team, ensuring seamless administration, document control and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Organisational Support
Attend meetings to develop project knowledge, provide programme updates in managers’ absence, and distribute meeting minutes and action logs.
Provide diary management support for the PMO Manager, including scheduling and travel arrangements.
Offer general administrative support across the Programme, working flexibly as needed.
Maintain and organise the PMO filing system.
Manage shared inboxes, ensuring timely and accurate responses to all enquiries.
Maintain and archive Programme documentation.
Document Preparation & Control
Review and appropriately file incoming project records.
Prepare and distribute client documents, ensuring stringent document control measures are upheld.
Maintain the Programme Change Register, facilitating regular monitoring and reviews.
Track and manage the Programme Risks, Issues, Actions, and Decisions Log.
Reporting & Data Management
Monitor project progress and assist the PMO Manager in preparing Programme Reports.
Maintain Programme trackers, keeping project managers informed on status updates.
