Our client is looking for an experienced BI Developer, a Data Scientist, and a Data Engineer, all of whom can work remotely to suit the candidate and offer the same rates of pay.
BI DEVELOPER
An experienced BI Developer with advanced expertise in Power BI to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of competency in SQL and have a strong understanding of databases. They will be responsible for extracting the required data, communicating effectively with relevant stakeholders, and managing their time efficiently to handle competing priorities.
Responsibilities
1. Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Power BI.
2. Utilize SQL skills to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring accurate and efficient data retrieval.
3. Work with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and actionable insights.
4. Collaborate with database administrators and data engineers to optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
5. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all BI solutions.
6. Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and reports.
7. Continuously improve BI processes and solutions to enhance overall data-driven decision-making across the organization.
8. Manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely and effective delivery of BI solutions.

DATA SCIENTIST
A highly skilled Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI to join our team. The selected candidate will leverage Azure OpenAI Studio to develop and integrate AI models that can process various pieces of text, rationalize the data, and produce a consolidated draft output. This draft will then be evaluated by a human checker, creating a feedback loop that feeds back into the AI system for continuous improvement. This AI model will then need to be integrated back into operational service applications, ideally through the AI model being called by Python notebooks within Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and deploy Generative AI models using Azure OpenAI Studio.
2. Integrate AI models into Python notebooks in Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric.
3. Collaborate with data engineers and other key colleagues across the organization to ensure project success.
4. Support junior data scientists by providing guidance, mentorship, and training.
5. Maintain a high focus on the ethics and security of personal information throughout the project.
Skills and Abilities
1. Strong background in Python and SQL.
2. Proficiency in using Azure OpenAI Studio for Generative AI model development.
3. Experience with Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric for integrating AI models into Python notebooks.

DATA ENGINEER
The Data Engineer will work on a range of projects to data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and modelling from case management systems, utilizing Microsoft Fabric. This role involves bringing data into Microsoft Fabric, building medallion architectures, and working across various projects including social care, revenue and benefits, and a range of other projects. They will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining communication with relevant stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions. Building and managing data pipelines, implementing CI/CD practices, and leveraging source control within Microsoft DevOps.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain data pipelines to support reporting and analytics.
2. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
4. Implement and optimize medallion architectures within Microsoft Fabric.
