Here at Principal Resourcing, we are seeking to appoint a confident and knowledgeable Head of ICT to join the staff team at one of our partnership Secondary Schools from January 2025. You will be responsible for the effective leadership and delivery of the ICT curriculum across KS3/4 to meet the needs of the department. The inclusive Secondary Academy based in Wakefield is excited to offer an experienced middle leader the opportunity to lead the ICT Faculty or an experienced Teacher wishing to take their first step into leadership of ICT and Computer Science. You will be someone who enjoys a challenging and rewarding environment, where the needs of pupils come first and they can benefit from your educational and cultural knowledge to become outstanding learners. As a Leader, you will be confident engaging students through strong enthusiasm and passion for your subject. You can expect to earn up to £230 per day for this role depending on experience and the role requirements.
We are seeking a Teacher with:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Previous middle leadership experience or a keen interest to progress
* Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
* Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
* An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
* Right to Work in the UK; unfortunately, we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
