The Role
This is a highly rewarding role that can be challenging at times. You will need to be confident, self-motivated, and really want to make a difference.
You will get the chance to build close relationships with the young people in our home, supporting them to have their voice heard in all aspects of their care planning and experience of living in the home.
This role requires the ability to work with challenging situations and behaviours displayed by young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The right candidates will be caring, compassionate and committed, with the skills to assess each young person’s needs to create individual care plans.
This role will include sleep-in shifts and weekend working; sleep-in shifts are paid on top of the advertised salary.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone with experience working with children and young people, ideally within a residential setting. You will also already have achieved a minimum Level 3 in Residential Childcare or be willing to work towards this qualification.
