Junior Assistant Manager / Restaurant Supervisor - Teddington - 35 Hours per week - Circa 32k - £33k + Overtime paid at £18ph.
Intimate, upscale 70 cover restaurant now requires a Junior Assistant Manager / Restaurant Supervisor as it looks to fire the business forward into 2025. The business comprises a very smart dining room, full of character - offering an excellent standard of food & service. This is a stunning building in a beautiful, high end location serving a brilliant, loyal local clientele many of whom use the restaurant on a regular basis.
Our client is looking for a strong Supervisor / Junior Assistant Manager with experience of leading a similar business & a track record of maintaining high standards & driving guest service. This will be a hands on Restaurant Supervisor role and will include running the bar & doing a section on the floor as well as leading a team from the front & would suit someone who wants to break free from their current company constraints & shoot the lights out with their next move.
Brilliant hours - 35 - 38 per week as standard but you will be paid pro rata for any extra hours you work.
The client is open to candidates from high quality restaurant or hotel restaurant backgrounds but you must have been working at Restaurant Supervisor / Junior Assistant Manager level for a minimum of 2 years.
This is a Junior Assistant Manager / Restaurant Supervisor role that isn't going to be for everyone. It's aimed at Assistant Managers who are growing tired of the thankless corporate contingency and all of the daily tick box exercises and the paperwork that goes with it - or Assistant Managers at that 'sweet spot' in their career who think their only two options are to either get a move managing a larger team & push for an Deputy Manager role within 6 - 12 months or set up on their own.
