Purpose of the Logistics Administrator Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Logistics Administrator to join our clients team on a maternity cover contract. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring seamless customer service within the logistics department, handling inquiries, managing stock and transport requirements, and maintaining high service standards. Key Responsibilities for a Logistics Administrator: Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring prompt responses. Manage logistics and goods-in email inboxes efficiently. Process orders using WMS and maintain accurate records. Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and order fulfilment. Manage transport bookings, including parcel, TMS, and pallet networks. Monitor customer deliveries, resolve issues, and maintain customer satisfaction. Generate weekly and monthly invoicing, handling any invoice queries. Maintain stock accuracy and assist with annual stock checks. Prepare KPI reports and suggest improvements for operational efficiency. Key Requirements for a Logistics Administrator: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy logistics office and customer service role. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook (basic formulas/functions). Familiarity with warehouse and transport management systems (ideally Access Delta). Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Proactive, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
