Join our team as a Business Application Specialist and play a key role in optimising our software applications to meet the evolving needs of our Property and Assets directorate.
Salary: £33,945 to £36,648 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full-time (37 hours per week)
Location: County Hall, West Street, Chichester, PO19 1RQ (flexible and hybrid working)

The role offers hybrid working arrangements with opportunities to work from home. You will be predominantly based at County Hall Chichester with occasional travel across the county. Final arrangements will be confirmed with the successful candidate.
You will need to be able to travel independently around the county, including to areas that may not be easily accessible by public transport. Pool cars and pool bikes are available.
The Opportunity
As a vital member of our team, you will analyse business requirements, configure, and customise applications, and provide technical support to ensure seamless operations.
On a day-to-day basis, you can look forward to:
* Delivering a dedicated professional IT service while proudly taking on responsibility for one or more stages of the application development and support lifecycle.
* Understanding the needs of customers and colleagues and ensuring these are met when taking actions or making decisions.
* Translating technical specifications and business requirements into precise work specifications or thoughtful recommendations with a diligent, professional, and meticulous approach.
* Working individually or as part of a project team liaising with clients, colleagues, partners, and suppliers to ensure the effective delivery of system solutions.
