Position: Business Development Executive Reporting to: Sales Director Responsibilities (not limited to). Develop and maintain a portfolio of existing commercial customers. Identify potential new business opportunities through lead generation, networking and prospecting. Understand the competitor market to support the business strategy for product pricing so we remain competitive in our sector. Regular telephone communication with potential or existing customers, processing orders and recording and updating records and data. Utilise relevant online platforms, industry associations, and social networks to identify new leads. Assisting the Marketing Dept in any promotional or general marketing activity. Liaising with Sales Director to ensure maintenance of pricing policy Provide regular reports on sales activities and forecast to management team. Liaising with other departments e.g. Commercial /credit control / dispatch teams to ensure the commercial customer/order and business needs are met. General customer care General Administration e.g. Filing, post etc Experience, Skills and Attributes Sales & business development experience A minimum of two years Experience in a similar role Strong commercial focus with the ability to manage the process from lead generation to sale closing Highly motivated and results driven Excellent communication skills with ability to build strong client relationships. Knowledge in CRM software e.g. Microsoft Dynamics (desirable) Location: Head Office, Greysteel This is primarily an office-based role but on occasion there may be a requirement to visit customers on their premises. Hours: 40 hours per week (30-minute lunch break unpaid) Monday to Friday Salary:Salary is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
