Where: Based from home, with occasional in-person meetings in Reading or Slough and as the developed strategy requires.
Salary: £50,000-£55,000 depending on experience

You will play a pivotal part in shaping our fundraising and communications strategy, ensuring we can continue to deliver vital services while expanding our reach and impact. Your expertise will not only grow and diversify our income but will also influence key organisational decisions, working closely with the CEO and Trustees to future- proof our charity’s work.
Role responsibilities to include:
* Work closely with the Board of Trustees and CEO to embed a culture of fundraising within the organisation.
* Management responsibility for the Charity’s fundraising, marketing and communications strategy, delivery and performance. Contributing to overall strategic direction and ensuring income generation is aligned with Ways in to Work’s long term sustainability goals.
* Develop a Fundraising, Marketing and Communications Strategy for approval by the CEO and then the Trustees within the first two months and lead the implementation of the strategy.
* Lead income generation from corporate partnerships, developing strategies to secure multi- year, high-value funding agreements.
* Cultivate high-value donors, ensuring that significant contributions are secured through a strategic approach to corporate and philanthropic relationships.
Person specification to include:
* Evidence of establishing a successful fundraising culture.
* Experience of creating and delivering successful fundraising strategies with a proven track record of achieving income targets.
* Experience of corporate fundraising/ partnership management preferably within the charity or third sector.
* Experience with Comms/Marketing including digital marketing, branding, social media platforms and effective online presence.
* Understanding of return on investment (ROI) principles and how to measure and report on the effectiveness of income- generating and marketing activities.
* Experience managing budgets, including reporting on ROI and delivering regular updates to senior leadership and trustees.
* Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate both internal teams and external partners.
