We are looking to recruit GP Specialist Physiotherapists.
There are a number of hours available, minimum 15 hours to maximum 37.5 hours per week. Based within one or more GP practices within West Cheshire and Chester, dependent upon hours worked. It is expected that you are able to travel independently across the West Cheshire area as needed. There is a possibility a post can be combined with some rehabilitation hours based within Chester or Ellesmere Port.
We offer a relocation package of up to £8,000

Main duties of the job
To work autonomously as a highly specialised physiotherapy practitioner working within GP practices. To undertake clinical assessment, provide short-term rehabilitation, and formulate pathways of care.
To assess musculoskeletal patients as a first point of contact, in place of a GP, diagnosing and giving advice on management, short-term rehabilitation, and referring onto other services as appropriate, including liaison with GP's regarding patients presenting with red flags or non-musculoskeletal conditions. To identify further needs of the patient, e.g., investigations, medications, or referral to other services.
To assess and treat specialist caseload and undertake a lead role within the MSK development of all specialties within the musculoskeletal department.
