Join our friendly and professional team as the face of our school We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Receptionist to provide a warm welcome to all visitors, including parents, pupils, contractors, and staff This is a full time role, the hours are TBC but will likely be 8:00 - 16:00. The successful applicant will be responsible for (but not limited too): Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage the visitor sign-in process and issue lanyards. Monitor registers daily and address missing marks promptly. Generate attendance reports from SIMS. Facilitate communication between staff, parents, and pupils. Manage incoming and outgoing post, liaising with Royal Mail. Oversee home-to-school transport, supporting the Business Manager with parent communication and bus provider liaison. Provide administrative support during fire alarms. Manage the school milk order. Support the Admissions Manager with administrative tasks. Serve as the named First Aid Co-ordinator, managing care plans, updating Medical Tracker and SIMS, and disseminating first aid information. Person Specification: SIMS or BROMCOM database knowledge is desirable. Strong computer skills. Ability to promote and share good practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A positive, can-do attitude and sense of humour. Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure. Excellent telephone manner. Professional and friendly demeanour. Team player with an enthusiastic approach.
