Games Workshop is recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Financial Systems Accountant initially on a 2-year fixed term contract.
As a Financial Systems Accountant you will be someone who can support the delivery of a global technology transformation programme by reducing complexity in our financial systems and business processes and help deliver consistent business systems capabilities.
We are looking for someone who is adept at collaborating across multiple territories including Australia, America, and Europe to embed integrity into every aspect of finance business processes. Taking a methodical and practical approach, you will provide testing and implementation support, including data analysis and cleansing, as well as participating in early-stage systems and acceptance testing to identify and resolve issues before the full user acceptance testing phase. Being a skilled communicator, you will represent the Finance Team from a process perspective ensuring consistency and alignment across regions.
As a business we understand that teamwork is critical to our success, so you will relish the opportunity of working across internal teams including Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Functional Consultants to build strong relationships. Working in conjunction with the Financial Systems & Controls Manager on training & deployment you will create training materials and standard operating procedures, ensuring you communicate with clarity to deliver guidance during user acceptance testing and go-live to ensure a smooth transition.
You will have an inquisitive approach to questioning inaccurate processes and will need to develop an understanding of the user experience, ensuring you exchange ideas, knowledge, and experience to boost the quality and efficiency of the solution, even after implementation.
With a good understanding of accounting practices, confidence in communicating with a wide range of people and using critical thinking skills in decision making, you will need effective organisational skills and an unwavering determination to support project implementation.
If you are someone who can work with large volumes of financial data, has a good understanding of D365 within global finance business processes, and is ready to contribute to a culture of trust, respect, and accountability, we invite you to join our team.
