Nash Squared is seeking a dedicated Data Privacy Analyst to join our in-house Legal team! As a Data Privacy Analyst, you will closely collaborate with the Legal team and the Group DPO to support the data protection obligations across the group, ensuring compliance with relevant data protection regulations. This role offers a great opportunity to take on varied tasks and make a meaningful and impactful contribution to a leading and award-winning global Technology Solutions and Recruitment agency.
The Role
* Coordinate and manage Subject Access Requests (SARs), deletion requests, and other data subject right requests within statutory timeframes
* Support the Group DPO with data protection-related matters such as due diligence assessments, DPIAs, and data mapping
* Work closely with the IT Security Team to ensure data privacy best practices are delivered
* Review and update Data Protection policies and processes as required
* Assist in the investigation of data breaches and complaints
* Produce quarterly data-related reports for the Group DPO, Leadership team, and other stakeholders
* Monitor the data protection office mailbox and maintain relevant logs and registers
* Support the delivery of education and training to staff to build data protection awareness within the Group
* Facilitate quarterly meetings with Data Privacy representatives in other countries across the Group
* Develop understanding, knowledge, and experience of wider data protection obligations with the Legal Manager and Group DPO
What do you need to be successful?
* Previous experience in a similar position dealing with Data Subject Access Requests is preferable
* Experience or understanding of a recruitment business is desirable but not essential
* A genuine interest in data protection and a willingness to learn
* Practical and commercial approach to problem-solving
* High attention to detail
* Experience in managing processes under tight deadlines
* Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Comfortable working with IT systems and databases
