Boden Group deliver facilities maintenance services, project construction and refurbishment works to the Ministry of Defence and commercial clients at multiple sites in the South West and South East. We are seeking an experienced Site Manager or a Senior Site Manager to deliver our projects based from Amesbury. We offer: 37 hour working week with an early finish on Fridays. Main Duties: Oversee and manage project delivery on-site, ensuring all works are completed in accordance with contract specifications, timelines Supervise and coordinate site teams, including direct employees and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety standards. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, project managers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress. Ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations, method statements, and risk assessments. Conduct regular Work in Progress (WIP) and retrospective inspections to monitor quality, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions where necessary. Address and resolve on-site issues, escalating matters when necessary to senior management. Provide hands-on support as required, assisting with project tasks to ensure efficient delivery and maintain productivity. Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, plant, and equipment to ensure the smooth progression of works. Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, daily diaries, variations, and health and safety documentation. Liaise with the wider project team to plan and schedule works, ensuring resources are allocated effectively. Identify and address potential issues, delays, or risks, implementing solutions to minimise impact on project delivery. Ensure snagging and handover processes are managed effectively, delivering completed projects to the required standard. Qualifications and Experience Proven experience in site management, particularly within project delivery in construction. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification required (or willingness to obtain). Relevant trade qualification (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing) is desirable but not essential.
