As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality projects while working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will:
1. Support the Project Manager in overseeing multiple construction projects from start to finish.
2. Ensure Health & Safety regulations and industry compliance are met at all times.
3. Coordinate and liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
4. Prepare project reports, tenders, and cost assessments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
5. Attend site meetings and contribute to project planning, problem-solving, and process improvements.
6. Assist with contract negotiations and procurement, securing high-quality materials and services.
7. Maintain quality control and compliance, ensuring all work meets company and client standards.
8. Provide support to site teams and play an active role in team development and leadership.
What You Need to Succeed as an Assistant Project Manager:
1. A construction-related qualification (HNC/HND or relevant trade certification).
2. SMSTS or SSSTS certification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
3. Experience in a project management, site supervision, or assistant project manager role.
4. Strong understanding of Health & Safety compliance and construction legislation.
5. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
6. A proactive, problem-solving approach and the ability to work under pressure.
7. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software.
8. A full UK driving license.
9. Willingness to travel across the UK to conduct site visits.
10. Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check, in line with company requirements.
